Ever been in class wondering if you really understood everything the teacher just covered? Or maybe a classmate nudged you, saying, “Wait, did you catch what that even meant?” You’re not alone, students around the globe face this all the time. And for professors who go the extra mile to answer questions mid-class, there’s a catch: they lose time for planned content, and students often still leave with lingering gaps. Exit tickets and similar tools just aren’t cutting it.
That’s where we step in. ReflectAI is designed to tackle these issues on both sides, helping students grasp every concept in real time with AI-driven insights, while giving professors adaptive tools to adjust their teaching without missing a beat. This is about supporting the professors shaping the next generation of leaders, making sure every minute in class has impact.
ReflectAI is an AI-powered tool I’ve been shaping through participatory design, gathering insights from students, professors, and TFs at every step. It’s taught me so much about designing with the learner in mind, thinking through how each feature impacts their experience. Initially, I thought it could work for all students, but feedback has shown it’s better suited for undergrad and grad students and their professors, K-12 just doesn’t fit right now. I’ve built the macro level of the product, but there are still many details to refine, especially around onboarding, feedback loops, and the dashboard. Working backwards from real needs and goals, I’ve aimed to create something relevant and practical for those who will use it.
