Development Journey
As someone with no technical background, I was thrilled to take on the challenge of developing a chatbot. Initially, I started with creating a prototype for a web-based chatbot, which you can try here. However, I wanted to push myself further and create a WhatsApp chatbot that can be more accessible to students. However, I encountered a roadblock during its development, which brought my progress to a standstill.
Thankfully, OpenAI’s announcement of the launch of custom GPTs came just in the nick of time. This provided me with a great opportunity to develop a Chat GPT 4-powered chatbot and introduce Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI to students in India. The development process was filled with highs and lows, and it was an incredible learning experience that taught me the value of perseverance, problem-solving, and learning design as an iterative process of testing, failing, receiving feedback, and celebrating small successes.
